SONDRIO STREET CLIMBING 2010

On December 18, beginning at 15 replicates the "Climbing Sondrio Street" (CLICK ON THE LINK FOR THE VIDEO PROMO) The sporting event of urban climbing that last year saw its 75 participants climb on the boulder-style institutional buildings (town hall, banks, police station, the building of the province) and on shop windows in the center of Sondrio.

Like the first edition, the organization of the event is the CAI Sondrio and its youth group, in collaboration with the Alpine Guides of Val di Mello and the house of ArsenikoFilm video production.

We will start with a score of passages on walls, doors and columns around the center of the city, a circuit to be completed in just over two hours. Follow for the best climber 8 challenge in parallel columns of granite Valtellinese Credit Bank, which hosted the final of last year. This year's novelty will be just the final, a battle that consists of two scalar (a rope secured to) the 40 meters of rock and concrete edge of the bell tower of Sondrio ( 40 meters) in a parallel difficulty / speed great visual impact. Following there will be a street fest with prizes of the competition and prize draw!

The event, sponsored by the City and the Province of Sondrio, is supported by some major sponsors like Autotorino and the two major local banks (Banca Popolare di Sondrio and Creval), in addition to the technical partnership with Crazy idea and some of the newer names in the industry climbing and mountaineering.
